Welcome to Mumbai Artisanal Furniture Co. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services, including custom furniture design and fabrication, traditional Indian woodworking, restoration, bespoke cabinetry, sustainable wood sourcing, interior design consultation, wholesale supply, and retail sales.

By engaging with our services or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with our services.

2. Orders and Payments

For custom orders, a detailed quotation will be provided. A non-refundable deposit, typically 50% of the total project cost, is required upon order confirmation to commence work. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before delivery or collection.

For retail sales, full payment is required at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed.

3. Design and Customization

For custom furniture, we will work closely with you through design iterations. Once a design is approved, any significant changes may incur additional costs and affect the production timeline.

Natural variations in wood grain, color, and texture are inherent characteristics of handmade furniture and are not considered defects.

4. Delivery and Installation

Delivery timelines will be estimated at the time of order confirmation. While we strive to adhere to these timelines, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We will communicate any such delays promptly.

Delivery and installation charges, if applicable, will be clearly outlined in your quotation. Clients are responsible for ensuring clear access for delivery and installation.

5. Returns and Cancellations

Due to the bespoke nature of our custom-made furniture and restoration services, orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced, and deposits are non-refundable.

For retail items, returns may be accepted within 7 days of purchase, provided the item is in its original condition and accompanied by a valid receipt. Custom orders are non-returnable.

Any issues with products upon delivery must be reported within 24 hours.

6. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, and intellectual property developed by Mumbai Artisanal Furniture Co. remain our sole property, even if commissioned. Reproduction or replication of our designs without express written permission is prohibited.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability

Our furniture is crafted with the highest standards of quality. However, we do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, or information obtained by you will meet your expectations.

In no case shall Mumbai Artisanal Furniture Co., our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service.

Our liability for any product or service you acquire from us is limited to the purchase price of that product or service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, specifically within the jurisdiction of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
